I took the Sony a7r ii to the Saugus Choir Concert last night to video my daughter. Her Jr. High Choir was making a guest appearance. As I waited for her to time on the stage, I decided to create a little photo challenge. The challenge I set for myself was to get a good candid handheld shot of the performers in low light from a distance. So, it was manual focus, a steady hand, aperture priority, -1EV to compensate for the high contrast between light and dark, and some fun editing in Lightroom and Photoshop to reduce noise. I like the results of this shot. It captures the moment.
