The Big Pine Creek North Fork Trail winds its way through several thousand feet of elevation, through valleys framed by the soaring Eastern Sierra Mountains, past picturesque waterfalls, and through forest paths toward glacier-fed lakes. Every step seemed to bring a new, almost impossible vista… even one of the few flat paths that provide a brief break from the climb.
