Our next family adventure begins today. The photo above is from our last adventure in Lisbon, Portugal in 2017. Today we will take off for South America in search of new experiences and a taste of another country on another continent. There are few things that thrill me more than witnessing my family soak up a different culture in another country.

Our son, “Funny Man,” will turn 18 on January 2, 2019. It will be his fourth birthday on a different continent. He has celebrated his birthday in North America, Africa (Nairobi, Kenya), Australia (Manly Beach, NSW), and now is looking forward to adding South America (Santiago, Chile) to his list.

This will be the fifth continent we’ve taken our children to visit. We’re almost to our goal. Asia is next. Antarctica we may leave for them to experience with their own family. 🙂
