It occurred to me on Sunday morning, as I was taking the photos used to create the panoramic image above, that a good number of excellent conversations have taken place on the Towsley Canyon Loop Trail. The loop 5.3-mile climb through 1105 feet of elevation from the parking lot for Ed Davis Park to the spot this photo was taken. I’ve had conversations with my children, friends and business partners. The trail provides the right conditions for focus.

When you’re gasping for air, the words you allow to come out of your mouth tend to have more value. You’re less likely to give up precious breath for frivolous chatter. Such was the case on this hike. Thanks, Towsley Canyon.
