I love the USATF Junior Olympics Track & Field Championships. I particularly enjoy watching the youngest of the competitors as they advance through the rounds of competition. Witnessing the future stars of the track world compete at a high level makes me smile. It wasn’t that long ago that my kids were the little ones. Compare this with some of the long jump composites of older competitors (here, here, here, and here), and you’ll notice something similar – the focus on their faces. I love this sport.
