This is a photograph of Rocky taken in Big Sur, California, Circa 1998. This was re-captured as part of my “photographs & memories” COVID19 project back in May of 2020. It is my belief that this was originally taken in July of 1998, so she would have been almost 27 years old in this photo. She’s not changed that much, physically, in the twenty-three years since this photo was taken. (She would vigorously disagree with that statement.) It is, however, indisputable that she is more formidable emotionally and intellectually today than she has ever been.
