The hallway balcony of the condo we’re renting in the Hau’ula/Punalu’u area is open to the outside. It overlooks the Kaluanui Natural Area, Hauʻula Forest, and Kaipapau Forest Reserves. I’ve made it a habit to check out the view each time I grab the elevator. Last night, I looked out from the lanai (the lanai view is shown below) and realized this mountain view would be amazing. So I grabbed my camera and shot away. It was truly spectacular. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a more impressive sunset. These photos don’t do it justice. Not even close.
