Snow-capped mountain visible over a dense evergreen forest, seen from a highway with barriers in the foreground

Racquel had the passenger seat the day before as we approached the Mount Shasta area. I stopped at a vista point to capture this beautiful mountain with my iPhone that day. Then we doubled back and stayed at a quaint place in the woods, which I highly recommend. It was called The Inn at Shasta Lake. We stayed in the Robin room. 🙂

As we left for the final leg of our journey from Santa Clarita, CA, to Vancouver, WA, I got the passenger seat. It turned out to be a perfect day for taking photos, with speeds of 65 MPH on the 5 North. Everything from this point to our new home is stunning.
