The CIF Southern Section boasts the top three long jumpers in California. These photos were all taken at the 2022 Arcadia Invitational, but these three young ladies will meet again (sort of) tomorrow at the CIF-SS Finals at Moorpark High School. Ranked #1, Golden Valley’s Kylee Davis is the only one of the three to have surpassed the 20′ mark this year (20′ 0.5″). Ranked #2, Lauren Reed (19′ 11″) of Long Beach Poly is only an inch and a half behind, and Upland’s Caelyn Harris, Ranked #3, has a jump of 19′ 10″ this season. Oh, I’m looking forward to seeing these amazing athletes compete tomorrow!
