The first long jump composite of 2024 is of Redondo Union High School’s Camilla Brennan. While I love Simi Valley High School for capturing images of track events, it’s not the ideal setup for trying to capture a series of images to use in a composite like this. Arcadia High School is my favorite for these shots; plenty of space is available to position a shot properly. This close to the action, the individual images must be warped for blending into such a state that editing them is much more complicated. I still think it’s worth it. I hope Camilla thinks so, too.
More images to come from the Simi Valley Invitational. They will ultimately be posted at PrepCalTrack.com with a link to the complete album.

This is an amazing series of shots. This was the meet from her best so it’s nice to have it put together to beautifully. Thank you so much for all that you do!!
Thank you. Long jump composites are my favorite. They take a bit of time to produce, but when they work out, it’s worth the effort!
Hi Jeff,
I absolutely love love your action composites. They are incredibly beautiful. Can you please reach out to me and let me know if you will be at Mt Sac or which upcoming meets you expect to be at? My daughter pole vaults and I would really love to get a composite of her. Thank you so much, Gia
Gia, thank you. They are a labor of love, that’s for sure. 🙂 I will send you an email with my cell phone. I will be at Mt. SAC on Saturday, is that the day your daughter is competing?
