
The small “flock” of Southern Caracara at Puerto Blest, Argentina, roamed around the grounds like the chickens on the North Shore of Hawaii. They paid little attention to the people who joined them on the grounds next to Rio Frias. There were also a few of the more common Chimango Caracara, but these Southern Crested Caracara were the stars of the show.
