The sunset in Carlsbad looked different from above the beach. Of course, this was also one of those sunsets where the brilliance of the color overwhelms you. So it wasn’t just the elevation that made it different from the sunset at the beach. We made our reservations at the last minute, so we had to switch locations to the Grand Pacific Palisades Resort. On the beach, above the beach, in the mountains, on a lake, in the city… it doesn’t matter. Just give me a good sunset.
