
We can’t see Mount Hood from our balcony or from the space in front of our complex. But if we walk almost exactly one mile down the Columbia River Waterfront Renaissance Trail, we arrive at this spot on a rocky beach. To my knowledge, it has no name. And while it’s not the sandy beaches we were used to in Southern California, the view can be pretty special.
